Highway Bike Racer is the traffic game for players who find lane-snapping too tidy. You steer freely across four lanes of moving traffic and you control your own speed, which means the difficulty is largely self-inflicted. Ride at a sensible pace and the game is calm. Pin the throttle and the gaps stop being gaps.
The scoring is built to reward the second approach. Distance earns a steady trickle, overtakes earn a chunk, and passing within a bike's width of another vehicle earns a near-miss bonus that stacks into a multiplier. Lift off and the multiplier decays, so the best runs are the ones where you never quite feel comfortable.
Traffic is generated in clusters rather than evenly, so the road alternates between open stretches where you should be building speed and walls of vehicles where you should not.
Cover as much distance as possible. Overtakes and near misses build a multiplier that makes fast, close riding worth far more than cautious riding.

On a phone: Left and right steering buttons sit on one side, throttle and brake on the other, so both thumbs have a job.

Night traffic seen only through your headlight. Tail lights are your early warning system.
Five lanes, traffic in both directions, and a boost gauge that only weaving can fill.
Three dash charges, two-way traffic, and gaps that only exist for a moment.
Passing another vehicle within roughly one bike width. The game flashes a bonus on screen when it registers, so you get immediate feedback on how close is close enough.
No, the road is endless. The goal is distance and multiplier, which makes it a score-chase rather than a race with a finish line.
Only indirectly. Braking does not subtract points, but a low speed earns distance slowly and lets the multiplier decay.
