Editorial Policy
How guides get written, who checks them, and the rules we will not break to publish faster.

What this policy is for
This site publishes two kinds of thing: games, and writing about games. This policy covers the writing — the guides, the category introductions, the game pages and the FAQs. It exists so you can judge how much weight to give what you read here.
How guides are researched
Every guide about our own games starts from the game. That means playing it properly — usually dozens of runs — and reading the game module to confirm what actually governs the behaviour being described. When a guide says the balance window in Motorcycle Wheelie narrows as speed climbs, that is because the function that computes the window does exactly that, and someone has checked.
Guides that describe general technique are written from the same base. We do not write about a mechanic we have not played, and we do not describe a game's behaviour from its marketing copy.
Where a guide touches something outside our own games — how a genre convention developed, or a real-world riding principle a mechanic borrows from — we say so plainly and we do not overstate what we know.
Review before publication
Nothing is published by the person who drafted it alone. A second member of the team reads every guide against the game it describes, checking that the claims hold, the controls listed match the controls in the game, and the internal links point where they should.
Game pages get the same treatment. The controls table, the how-to-play steps and the FAQ on each game page are checked against the running game, on a phone and on a computer.
AI-assisted writing
We use AI tools in drafting and editing — for structure, for first drafts of routine sections and for catching clumsy sentences. We are telling you that because it is true of a great deal of published writing now and we would rather be direct about it than not.
What that does not change: a person is responsible for every published page. Every factual claim is verified by a human against the game or the code, every guide is read end to end before publication, and anything an AI tool produced that we could not verify was cut rather than published with a hedge. We do not publish AI output unread, and we do not use it to generate volume for its own sake.
What we will not publish
- Invented statistics, player counts, download figures or ratings
- Fabricated reviews, testimonials or quotes, from real or invented people
- Awards, certifications, partnerships or credentials we do not have
- Professional racing or riding credentials — nobody here has them
- Content copied from another site, including game descriptions
- Filler written to hit a word count
A short guide that answers its question is better than a long one that buries it. Several of our guides are deliberately shorter than the SEO conventional wisdom would suggest.
Updates and corrections
Games get tuned, and when a change affects what a page says, the page is updated and its “Updated” date changes. We do not touch that date to make a page look fresh — if the date moved, something in the content moved.
Corrections are handled under our fact checking policy. Substantive corrections are noted on the page rather than made silently.
Sponsored content and advertising
We have published no sponsored content, no paid reviews and no affiliate placements at the time of writing, and we have no commercial relationships to disclose.
If that ever changes, any sponsored or paid content will be labelled clearly at the top of the page, before the content, in plain language — not buried in a footer. Advertising will remain separate from editorial: an advertiser will never be able to buy a recommendation, a placement in a “best games” list, or a change to a review.
Originality
Every game, every line of engine code, every piece of artwork and every page of writing on this site is original to it. We do not reskin other people's games, we do not copy game descriptions from other portals, and we do not use copyrighted characters, trademarked liveries or brand names.
