City Bike Racer is the only game here with a genuine race structure: a closed circuit, three laps, four rival riders and a finishing position at the end. The camera is top-down, which keeps the whole corner visible and makes the racing line something you can actually see and plan.
Cornering is grip-limited. Carry too much speed into a turn and you run wide, losing more time than braking would have cost. Rivals follow the racing line at a consistent pace with small variations, so they are beatable but they do not make gifts — you have to find your own time in the corners.
The circuit is fixed so you can learn it, and lap times are tracked separately from finishing position. Plenty of players end up chasing a clean lap long after they can win the race.
Finish three laps ahead of the four rival riders. Your best lap time is saved alongside your best finishing position.

A drag strip where the only input is your gear change. Shift in the green band or lose the run.
The clock is always running out. Every checkpoint buys you a little more of it.
Roadblocks and spike strips ahead, pursuers behind that close in every time you slow down.
Three, which is long enough for a mistake to matter and short enough to retry immediately.
No. They follow the racing line at a set pace with minor variation, so a clean fast lap genuinely beats them and a scrappy one genuinely does not.
Yes. A fixed circuit means the racing line is learnable, which is the whole point of a lap-based racing game.
