About Motorcycle Rush

Motorcycle Rush is the game we point beginners at first. The road is split into three lanes, your bike is locked to whichever lane you pick, and everything else is about reading what is coming and committing early. There is no throttle to manage and no physics to fight, so the only skill being tested is how far ahead you are looking.

The speed curve is the whole design. You start at a pace where a lane change feels instant, and every level shaves a little more reaction time off you. Around level five the barrels start arriving in pairs, which forces you to plan two moves instead of one. Boost tokens are worth points but they also briefly raise your speed, so late in a run a greedy grab can be the thing that ends it.

Objective

Ride as far as you can without hitting a barrel, a barrier or a slow-moving van. Score climbs with distance, and boost tokens add a bonus on top.

How to play

  1. Press Start Game, or hit the space bar, to launch out of the pit lane.
  2. Move between the three lanes with the left and right keys, or the on-screen arrows on a phone.
  3. Collect the orange boost tokens sitting in the road for extra points and a short burst of speed.
  4. Avoid every obstacle. One contact ends the run, so read the road two obstacles ahead rather than one.
  5. Each level raises the scroll speed. When the level counter ticks over, expect the next gap to be tighter.

On a phone: Two large arrow buttons sit under the stage. Tap rather than hold — each tap moves you exactly one lane.

Tips

  • Change lanes early. The bike takes a moment to slide across, and at high speed a late input becomes a crash into the obstacle you were dodging.
  • The centre lane is the safest place to idle because you can escape in either direction. Drift back to it whenever the road is clear.
  • Skip boost tokens that sit directly behind an obstacle. The points are small and the extra speed arrives at the worst moment.
  • If you keep dying at the same score, deliberately ride one lane wider than feels necessary for ten seconds. It resets your reading distance.

Questions about Motorcycle Rush

How many lanes does Motorcycle Rush have?

Three. Your bike snaps to the centre of whichever lane you choose, so every decision is a discrete left or right rather than fine steering.

Does the game ever stop getting faster?

No. The scroll speed keeps climbing with each level, which is what makes it an endless score chase rather than a game you can finish.

Is there a way to survive a crash?

There is not. A single contact ends the run, which is deliberate: it keeps the tension high and runs short enough to retry immediately.
