Mountain Bike Ride is the off-road category's easy entry point, and the only game here that is deliberately unhurried. You ride a trail dirt bike up a mountain trail with a fuel gauge that drains while the throttle is open. Checkpoints along the route refill it. Run dry and the run ends quietly, without a crash.
The terrain is gentle by the standards of Dirt Bike Challenge — rolling rather than punishing — because the challenge is resource management rather than reflexes. Full throttle up every incline will get you to checkpoint two and no further. Learning where to coast is the whole game.
It is also the game we suggest to players who find the rest of the site too twitchy. There is no score multiplier, no combo timer, and nothing that punishes you for taking a slow line.
Reach as many checkpoints as you can before the fuel runs out. Distance is the score, and every checkpoint refills the tank.

On a phone: Throttle and brake on the right, lean buttons on the left. The pace is slow enough that one thumb is usually plenty.

Carry momentum over rolling dunes while a sandstorm slowly takes your visibility away.
Climb steepening hills where too much throttle spins the wheel instead of driving you up.
Thread a canyon corridor that narrows as you go, with outcrops jutting into the channel.
The run simply ends and your distance is scored. There is no crash, which keeps this the most relaxed game in the collection.
Yes, every checkpoint restores the tank completely, so the game is really a series of fuel budgets rather than one long one.
No. Despite the name it is a trail motorcycle on a mountain route — the whole site is motorcycle arcade games.
Mountain Bike Ride was developed for Motorcycle Arcade by the Motorcycle Arcade Editorial Team. It is an original game — the mechanic, the code and the artwork were all made for this site, and no motorcycle manufacturer, model or logo is depicted.
